We had an absolutely amazing time in St Lucia, it was definitely the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Most vacations I still end up working as the mom. This time I sat on my lounger and food and drinks were brought to me! The maid even washed and put away any dishes we used in the villa. The Windjammer had plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained. The water sports, the activities they had going on at the beach, snorkeling, the beautiful beach and pool….everything was as wonderful as we had hoped it would be! The Windjammer staff was AMAZING. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate and make sure we were having a great vacation. We particularly noticed this eating with our very picky 9yo daughter. The staff would get her whatever she wanted, even if it wasn’t on the menu! Our only negative the whole trip was probably the transfer from airport to the resort (and then back to airport). The roads in St Lucia are hilly and winding, and the people of St Lucia drive…..fast and bumper to bumper! One of the kids felt car sick each trip unfortunately. And the ride to the airport at the end of the trip we waited 45 minutes after they told us to be in the lobby before we were picked up. If we visited again we’d consider either a water taxi or booking directly through the Windjammer for private transfer. We saw a lot of people using the Windjammer for transfer and talking about how the driver was able to stop whenever they needed which would be nice for the kids when they felt car sick. Otherwise we were in paradise!!!! Thank you for helping us have the most beautiful and relaxing vacation! We look forward to working with you again in the future!
